2D or 3D? How to Choose the Right Laser Engraving
We often get asked about the different types of laser engraving. How do you choose the perfect style for yours?
There are two main types of laser engraving:
1. 2D Laser Engraving. This style features crisp, clean lines, similar to a silhouette. With no blackened background, this style is perfect if you have a lot of detail in your design, or, if you want a more subtle aesthetic.
2. 3D Laser Engraving. This type of engraving features a recessed and oxidised (blackened) background, which leaves the artwork design polished. This creates a contrasting effect, which allows the top of the ring to stand out.
